Can AI keep course content current with cited sources?
Yes. Cognitivv's AI can supplement a generated course with current, cited web sources, so the content reflects up-to-date information rather than only what's in your uploaded document or the model's training data — with sources cited, not just asserted.
How it works in Cognitivv
- Generate from a topic or a document. Start the course the usual way — a topic, or an uploaded PDF, DOCX, TXT, Markdown, or slide deck.
- AI enriches with current web sources. During generation, Cognitivv supplements the content with current information pulled from the web.
- Sources are cited. The enriched content carries citations back to its sources, not just unsourced claims.
- Review and refine. An admin reviews the outline — including the enriched sections — and can adjust it through the AI Consultant before publishing.
- Assign and track as usual. Once published, the course is assigned, tracked, and certified the same way as any other Cognitivv course.
What it doesn't do
Web enrichment happens at generation and refinement time — it's not a live feed that keeps rewriting a published course on its own. If the underlying facts change after a course goes out, refreshing it is a deliberate regenerate-or-refine step through the AI Consultant, not an automatic background update.
